Master Schoenbrun earned her fourth dan (4th degree black belt) in 2003.   She was awarded “Instructor of the Year 2004” by The Women’s Sport Foundation and D.C. Taekwondo Association.

She is a certified national level referee, and was awarded "Outstanding Female Referee, 2008 US National Championships," by USA Taekwondo, as well as “2007 NCTA Referee of the Year,” by the National Collegiate Taekwondo Association and National Collegiate Taekwondo Referee Association.

Master Schoenbrun is a Level 2 coach (USTU).  She was instructor and coach of the University of Maryland Taekwondo Club from 2001 – 2003, and coached Silver and Bronze medalists (color belts) at the 2001 National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships.  She also coached the Silver medalist at the 2003 National Executive Seniors.

Master Schoenbrun medaled in both forms and sparring in the “Executive Seniors/Ultras” division of Nationals, each year from 1999 to 2003.
